JERSEY CITY, NJ, OCTOBER 20, 2006 -- A student passes by the glass
panel inside
the new Visual Arts Building at the New Jersey City University
campus which is one
of two pieces that make up the sculpture "By Definition"
by artist/architect, Maya
Lin, which was officially unveiled today. The glass panel is
etched with all the
definitions of the word "art" culled from the Webster
dictionary. Lin is also
famously known for having designed the Vietnam Veterans
Memorial in Washington, D.C.
