JERSEY CITY, N.J., DEC. 17, 2019 — Thousands of officers from every police department in New Jersey and beyond attended the funeral of Police Det. Joseph Seals at St. Aedan’s Church. Seals was fatally shot at Bayview Cemetery a week before by two assailants who afterwards attacked a kosher supermarket killing three civilians in what the mayor has called an anti-semitic hate crime.
